Cheddar Beer Bread

Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 12 oz. bottle of beer
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flours, sugar, salt and baking powder.
  3. Stir in beer, mustard and cheese until mixture forms a batter.
  4. Transfer batter to a lightly greased 9"x5" loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and firm to the touch.
