Cheddar Beer Bread

Serves: 12 slices
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 12 oz. bottle of beer
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flours, sugar, salt and baking powder.
- Stir in beer, mustard and cheese until mixture forms a batter.
- Transfer batter to a lightly greased 9"x5" loaf pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and firm to the touch.
