Frozen Mango Margarita

Here I find myself smack dab in a Texas summer. While we’ve managed to avoid those scorching days that break the thermometer so far this summer, it’s still warm enough to warrant a frosty beverage. While it’s hard to beat a classic like a frozen lime margarita, sometimes it’s good to switch it up a bit. I raided my smoothie supplies recently to make Frozen Mango Margarita. Then, we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the dogs being goofballs in the backyard. When my husband wasn’t looking, our boxer-mix Sophie even stole a few sips of his margarita. (She’ll steal a sip of any alcoholic beverage you don’t have your eye on – she’s got a problem.) Sailor would never do such a thing, he’s a good boy!

In a high speed blender, combine the above ingredients and blend until smooth. It’s much more manageable to blend in half-batches. Use more or less water depending on the consistency of frozen margarita that you like.  You’ll end up with about a pitcher of Frozen Mango Margaritas. Invite a friend over and enjoy the summer!
