Sometimes you have to show the world a little attitude. This week I chose to do that with black matte nails. I usually keep my fingernails bare and leave the fancy stuff for my toe nails, but this time I thought, why not? I had just trimmed my nails short and they needed a little something.

To get the look I started with a base coat of clear polish. Black nail polish is notorious for chipping – a clear base coat helps prevent that. Next I applied two coats of Maybelline Black Matte Polish
