Pink Hibiscus – Pedicure

todayimight.com | Pink Hibiscus Nails

There is something so pretty and feminine about pink nails. I’m in love with the dusty rose shade used in this pink hibiscus pedicure because it’s fairly neutral.  It’s also very flattering with all types of open-toed shoes.

I don’t know about you, but once I’ve been wearing sandals or flip flops for any period of time my feet start to get dry. So like always, before any pedicure, I’m buffing away and applying moisturizer. I once had a friend who was told by her podiatrist that part of the reason her feet hurt all of the time was because they were so dry. No one wants tired, aching feet.

The first step of this pink hibiscus pedicure is two coats of essie Eternal Optimist polish. Once completely dry I applied a single Hibiscus flower nail tattoo to each big toe. These are a little tricky to place – using some tweezers to handle the tattoo until positioned is helpful! The nail tattoos are then sealed in place with two coats of Revlon Colorstay Always On Sealant.
